After the release of Joseph Monninger's novel 'Baby', the author partnered with writer/director Trevor Clark Thalin to bring the story to the big screen.
Thalin independently financed the feature-length adaptation, wrote the screenplay, cast the actors, and produced the film. Filmed over 55 days, he shot the entire film without a crew while also acting in it.
The project went on to win Best Feature Film at the SoCal Film Festival in Huntington Beach. It also earned Best Actress and was nominated for the Audience Award and Jury Prize at the Riverside International Film Festival. Additionally, the film was an official selection of the Manhattan Film Festival and received nominations for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Talented New Director at the Madrid International Film Festival.
